Project Overview

The Museum Director requested 16’ high storage for their collections using High Density Mobile Shelving Systems to maximize the capacity. This included three rooms of Eclipse, ActivRAC 7 and ActiRAC 16, along with wall mounted Art Racks and Bin Storage. Shelving included Raptor wide span shelving, 4Post, clip shelving, and pallet shelving. All shelving was calculated to fit archival boxes, three dimensional pieces, catalogs and large display fixtures. This project was 4 years in design development to final installation. A showpiece for Spacesaver products.

The Installation

Our ActivRAC & Eclipse systems eliminates empty space in the storage area to maximize available floor-space and was designed as the ideal solution for the heaviest storage challenges. We equipped these installations with all the bells and whistles, from aisle lighting and fire park to touch screens with lock and audit capabilities.

The end result

Three rooms that will efficiently store any materials required by the museum staff…all completed within one of our tightest timelines yet. Kudos to our sales planner as well as our dedicated installers for a highly successful project!
